The Wild Center is science-based, and its experiences, exhibits and programs are designed to open new ways to look into our relations with nature.
Raquette River Roll is a new experience where you and your young explorers can engage with nature in an exciting new way. Along a new woodland trail are a series of ball runs – elevated tracks where you can drop special wooden balls and watch gravity do its thing.
Walk up a trail of bridges to the treetops of the Adirondack forest. Visit a four-story twig tree house, swing on bridges, clamber over a spider’s web or climb to the full-sized bald eagle’s nest at the highest point on the Wild Walk

Description

Find new ways to connect with nature through experiences like Wild Walk, Climate Solutions, Raquette River Roll, Forest Music. Patrick Dougherty’s Stickwork, Brenda Baker’s The Clothesline, Birdly, and get to know some of the Adirondacks animal ambassadors that call The Wild Center Home.
