Description

Bowden Golf Course was opened in Macon, Ga by businessman John “Dick” Cotton in 1940. It was one of the first 18-hole municipal golf courses in Macon and is open to the public. Now is the time to “Come Back to Bowden” to see what’s new. Greens were fully renovated and replaced with Tife-Eagle Greens in the Spring of 2018. Bowden is home to the Cherry Blossom Four Ball Golf Tournament that is held yearly during the Cherry Blossom Festival in the Spring. Bowden has a full-service driving range, pro shop, and snack bar. Bowden offers an "All Inclusive" membership, 6 months and yearly memberships at a very competitive price.

In addition to the Cherry Blossom, Bowden runs a PGA Jr League program for kids that is sponsored by the PGA of America. Class A PGA Golf Professional, Jack Dean, provides lessons, clinics, summer camps, coordination of golf tournaments, club fittings, and other events/services at Bowden Golf Course.
