The crown jewel of golf in this area is Patriot Hills Golf Club. The largest development in Jefferson County, Patriot Hills was opened in the Spring of 1997 to rave reviews. “The best new course in East Tennessee” being just one!
At its inception, Patriot Hills was intended to be more challenging than its sister course (Dandridge). With a similar design, the course has proved to be as tough as you want it to be. The par 72-course measures 6,710 yards from the back tees, 6,068 yards from the regular tees, 5,609 yards from the senior tees, and 4,974 yards from the forward tees. Patriot Hills offers the same lush Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens as the Dandridge course. The scenery is quite spectacular as well, affording the golfer many scenic views of English Mountain and the Great Smokey Mountains. Patriot Hills is open to the public.

Wildlife abounds and after a scenic round of golf, guests can visit the well-stocked pro shop or sit on the veranda with a refreshment in the company of friends. In addition to golf, Wild Laurel’s amenities include a clubhouse, that offers covered outdoor seating, a lounge/dining area, a bar, a corporate meeting room, and a pool and fitness center.*
Wild Laurel Golf Course & Clubhouse is under new ownership and, while many improvements are in the works, a new automated irrigation system and updated landscaping have already been completed, and the clubhouse recently underwent an interior/exterior face-lift.
*Use of the pool and fitness center areas by membership only.
The Greens at Deerfield is an 18 Hole Par 71 6,700-yard Championship Golf Course located on scenic Norris Lake in East Tennessee open to the public. We have 5 sets of tees measuring from 5700 yards to 4400 yards, and most players will use all the clubs in the bag. The front nine flows through the valley and wraps around the lake, while the back nine is carved out through the hillside and plateau. Each nine has a signature hole. Number 3 requires two carries over Norris Lake from the Men’s tee and provides a unique ambiance with views of the Deerfield Cove Marina and “Famed Tikki Hut."
The course opened in 1995 and excels in superior course conditions and good ole’ Tennessee southern hospitality. Our bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways are in superb shape, and the views of Norris Lake are incredible.
Our guests have a chance to play a course with scenic views of the mountains, Norris Lake, and unique changes in elevation. One of our signature holes, #16, is a Par 4 that drops off over 300 feet from the tee! Furthermore, we are one of the few courses where you can arrive by car, boat, or even plane.
